CALIBRATION
Get the accuracy you need: Calibration for Process Industries.
Unplanned equipment breakdowns are more than just an annoyance but can have serious implications to the operations of a facility and can create major downtime and costs. That’s why Westburne and Fluke are teaming up in this four part blog series to help you identify four key maintenance red flags to help keep your equipment running. In today’s post, we introduce helpful information about equipment calibration.
What is the Process Calibration?
Fluke Process Calibration tools include a full range of calibrators and troubleshooting tools for instrument techs in the process industries. Fluke has the process calibrator you need: documenting process calibrators, multifunction process calibrators, single and multifunction temperature calibrators, and a variety of mA loop calibrators.
The tool can be used in two valuable ways:
- Pressure Calibration: Fluke means pressure. Fluke offers a range of pressure calibration tools with precision, pressure measurement from 15psi/1 bar to 10,000 psi/690 bar, with 0.025% full-scale accuracy. Easy-to-use with rugged and reliable construction; plus, an industry-leading, 3-year warranty. From simple test gauges to calibrators with built-in electric test pumps, Fluke has got you covered.
- Loop Calibration: Loop calibrators are essential for working with 4-20 mA current loops. Fluke process control loop calibrators provide simple operation and accuracy you can count on: plus, mA sourcing, simulation and measurement, readouts in both mA and % of span, and 24 V loop supply.
- Temperature Calibration: Fluke temperature calibrators simulate process sensors to test temperature instrumentation. Designed for use in the field, these lightweight compact tools are EMI tolerant, dust and splash resistant, and easy-to-use with a single push button interface. When paired with a temperature sensor, get high-accuracy temperature measurements to ensure the highest product quality and safety.
